What Is A Recumbent Trike/Bike?

  • Well, it's called a 'recumbent' bicycle. The word recumbent refers to the reclined seating position; many enthusiasts have also taken to calling them 'bents'.

The Metro Area Recumbent Society (MARS) is a recumbent bicycle group located in the New York Metro area. We have members in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. If you're in these areas, there's a MARS member not far from you.
